STILL YOU, WITH FEWER LINES
Botox (botulinum toxin type A) and Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxinA) are both injectable neurotoxins used primarily for cosmetic purposes, mainly to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. They work through similar mechanisms but may have slightly different formulations or uses. Botox and Jeuveau work by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that signals muscles to contract. When injected into specific facial muscles, they block nerve signals that cause these muscles to contract. Both neurotoxins also prevent acetylcholine from binding to its receptors at the neuromuscular junction, and the targeted muscles become temporarily paralyzed or relaxed. This relaxation reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.

Active Ingredient: PrabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs

How do BOTOX® COSMETIC and Jeaveau work?
⤷ Both Botox and Jeuveau block the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that signals muscles to contract. When acetylcholine is inhibited, the targeted muscles become less active or paralyzed, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
What are the target areas of usage with neurotoxins?
Forehead lines
Frown lines (glabellar lines)
Crow's feet (lines around the eyes)
How long before the results are seen?
⤷The effects of both treatments usually begin to appear within 48-72 hours post-injection, with optimal results typically seen within one to two weeks. The effects generally last from three to six months, after which muscle activity gradually returns, and wrinkles may reappear
⤷ In forehead line studies, 9% of patients experienced headaches, 2% experienced eyelid drooping, and 2% experienced brow drooping.
⤷ Possible side effects include dry mouth, discomfort or pain at the injection site, tiredness, headache, neck pain, and eye problems: double vision, blurred vision, decreased eyesight, drooping eyelids and eyebrows, swelling of your eyelids, and dry eyes.
